In January we had two new recruits join our Business Development Team.
After giving them a few months to settle in we fired a few questions at them to
get to know them a little bit more.
Name: Stuart Reynolds
Role: Account Executive
Why insurance, and when did you start?
I thought that this was a rhetorical question? Why Insurance!? I can’t
say exactly why, but I ended up in insurance after time in the civil service,
the motor trade & estate agency.
I have been in insurance for approximately the last 25 years (I know I
don’t look old enough!). Initially with a high street personal lines broker
& for the last 13 years as Operations Manager & then Account Executive
for a local broker within their property insurance team.
What you are looking forward to the most within your new role?
Meeting new clients, working with the team & achieving our goals
together.
What is an ideal weekend for you?
I would love to travel to Rome, do the sights & if possible include
an England rugby match & over do the beer, red wine & pasta. This would
allow me to indulge with 2 of my passions rugby, and Italian food & wine
all at the same time.
What’s on your bucket list this year?
To take time out for me; whether that be attending sporting events,
reading a book, a spa day or experiencing something new – life’s too short –
YOLO etc.
Who inspires you?
I have many sporting heroes & business leaders that inspire me; too
numerous to mention but they would include Martin Johnson, Jonny Wilkinson,
Richard Branson etc.
